Between 55 and 70 percent of people experiencing domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV) are in the paid workforce.
The response of the workplace is important to victims of DFSV for many reasons including their sense of self, social connections and safety.
Importantly, having an income supports economic safety, keeping more options on the table for victims considering their future.
- PDF Guide - Workplace Responses
My Support Options (presented below) is designed to share examples of what victim-survivors of DFSV have wished for and/or asked for from their workplace.
- The support options are ideas not advice.
- They are not exclusive or exhaustive.
- Member clubs can think about what support options they can make available to victim-survivors.
