Thirty years ago, Youth Off The Streets (YOTS) was founded by Father Chris Riley. During that time, the charity has supported thousands of young people who struggle with the daily challenges of homelessness, domestic and family violence, poverty, disconnection from school and other forms of disadvantage.
Today, YOTS volunteers are still on the frontlines, working with young people to give them access to safe accommodation, education, counselling, employment and other vital support services.
To mark this milestone, YOTS invites you to join the 30 for 30 Challenge this November!
The 30 for 30 Challenge is a virtual fundraising event. You can register here as a team or individual, select a fitness goal or activity, encourage your friends, family and work colleagues to sponsor your challenge, and set a fundraising target to achieve whether it is for 30 minutes, 30 hours or 30 days.
The goal is to raise $300,000 but YOTS can’t do it alone. Together, you can make a difference to young people in need, choose a challenge and change a life.
