Club York has officially opened the doors to its impressive new-look venue, following a three-year transformation expertly delivered by Paynter Dixon. The project began with the launch of Primi Restaurant and bar, a vibrant addition that significantly boosted trade and set the tone for what was to come.
This was followed by a full redevelopment of the ground and first floors, re-imagining the club experience with a focus on quality, functionality, and style. The ground floor now welcomes guests with a striking new entry foyer and reception, a relocated and elevated main bar, a relaxed lounge, and upgraded indoor and outdoor gaming areas.
On Level 1, the lounge features a central fireplace and a transformed balcony that now offers stylish terrace dining overlooking York Street. Importantly, Club York remained open and operational throughout the entire redevelopment, delivered in a carefully staged approach that minimised disruption.
This approach is a hallmark of Paynter Dixon’s expertise in working within live environments. Reopened on 4 June, the new Club York is a must-see destination.
