We are pleased to advise that Asahi Beverages has decided not to increase draught beer prices in August 2025.
The decision is in recognition of the Australian Government's commitment to freeze draught beer excise following industry's successful campaign for some excise relief. Now that the Albanese Government has been re-elected Asahi Beverages consider the freeze to be locked-in.
While production and operating costs (including labour, transport, energy and material costs) continue to increase Asahi Beverages wanted to provide draught beer customers some price relief by not passing on increased costs for the rest of 2025.
The next review of our draught beer prices will be in early 2026.
