ClubCOLLECTIVE February 2024
The numbers have been crunched and it’s official, players in New South Wales enjoyed more than $500.6 million in Keno wins last year – more than those in any other state or territory.
In 2023, Keno created 21 multi-millionaires and millionaires across the eastern seaboard.
This included 11 Keno Classic, and Mega Millions, 10 Spot Jackpot wins in New South Wales, and the ACT that were collectively worth more than $281.5 million.
While Keno wins could land anywhere at any time, Keno spokesperson Matt Hart said some regions in New South Wales enjoyed more Keno prize money than others last year.
“Players in the Hunter and Central Coast region scored significantly more prize money than anywhere else in New South Wales, however, players across the state, from Tweed Heads to Parkes, pocketed many of the multi-million-dollar wins.
“A local resident playing Keno at the Shelly Beach Golf Club took home the state’s biggest prize last year – a whopping $5.9 million Keno Mega Millions win.
“It will be interesting to see if these winning Keno regions maintain their reputations in 2024.”
