Clubs continue to broaden their cross-generational appeal by reimagining under-utilised space in their venues.

Bankstown Sports Club previously engaged the company to convert an unused rooftop into the highly acclaimed Lady Banks Rooftop Bar. Now, Paynter Dixon has completed the refurbishment of a central corridor in the club.
New York Corridor playfully evokes an iconic street aesthetic in the popular venue. The corridor also serves to link patrons to various internal areas including gaming, restaurants and children’s play facilities. Patrons walk past mock shop fronts including a bakery, delicatessen and box office. The Central Park area offers park bench seating against a wall-length backdrop of the city skyline. Meanwhile, an authentic iron manhole cover – sourced from Michigan – is embedded in the sidewalk.
