In 2016, ClubsNSW received expressions of interest from member clubs to establish a network of like-minded personnel within clubs who manage or are responsible for their clubs core community engagement activities.
In response, ClubsNSW co-ordinated the engagement of a pilot group of eighteen member clubs to establish this network now dubbed the ‘Community Engagement Network’ on July 27 2016 at ClubsNSW.
It was established at this meeting for this group to form part of ClubsNSW existing ClubCONNECTION program. ClubCONNECTION has been created to promote teamwork and diversity amongst member clubs to leverage experience, knowledge and skills and to encourage participants to show initiative, exhibit leadership and think progressively.
