ClubPASS Holdings Pty Ltd as the trustee for ClubPASS Trust (ABN 28 507 545 832), a wholly owned subsidiary of ClubsNSW (ClubsNSW, we, us) will collect, store and use the personal information you have provided to us pursuant to the terms of this Collection Notice and our Privacy Policy.
Uses of your personal information
The primary purpose for which we are collecting your personal information is to facilitate your use of ClubPASS, including creating a ClubPASS account through the ClubPASS mobile application and using ClubPASS to sign into participating clubs across New South Wales.
You agree that we may also use your personal information for related secondary purposes including:
- to provide you with information (including via email and SMS) about ClubPASS;
- to provide products and services to you;
- as required or permitted by any law (including the Privacy Act); and
- for any other purpose stated in our Privacy Policy.
If you do not provide us with the personal information we ask for, or the information provided is incorrect or incomplete, you will not be able to use ClubPASS.
Collection of your sensitive personal information
To the extent that any of your sensitive personal information is sighted when you sign in with ClubPASS, for example, evidence of your vaccination status or proof of age ID, you give your express consent for a record of that to be made in the ClubPASS System in order to facilitate a more streamlined entry next time you sign into a participating club using ClubPASS. For the avoidance of doubt, the underlying evidence itself (for example, your vaccination certificate or a copy of your proof of age ID) will not be recorded; only that such evidence has been sighted.
Disclosures of your personal information to third parties
We may disclose your personal information to the following organisations for the purposes described above (as well as otherwise permitted or required under Australian law):
- each participating club you sign into using ClubPASS;
- our related entities;
- our employees, contractors and external service providers (and those of our related entities);
- as required or permitted by any law (including the Privacy Act); and
- any other organisation as covered in our Privacy Policy.
Disclosures of your personal information to overseas recipients
It is unlikely that we will disclose your personal information to any recipients that are based overseas, however to the extent that we do (for example third party cloud storage providers and other service providers), we have taken reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipient of your personal information complies with the APPs. By accepting this Collection Notice, you consent to us disclosing your personal information to overseas recipients.
