Member clubs are advised that Parramatta Leagues Club Ltd, ABN 52 000 218 655, of 1 Eels Place, Parramatta, in the Parramatta LGA, is seeking expressions of interest from clubs with a view to amalgamating.
Parramatta Leagues Club was founded over 60 years ago and has more than 60,000 members. The Club has a strong community and sporting presence in Western Sydney, and is proud of their support of junior sports, particularly Parramatta Eels Junior Rugby League.
Parramatta Leagues has over $100 million in assets and has previously amalgamated with Vikings Sports and Dural Country Club.
The Club is seeking to further its business, community and sporting objectives by supporting and growing another like-minded registered club. Parramatta Leagues is particularly interested in receiving expressions of interest from clubs located within the 50km radius, especially in the Parramatta, Hills, Blacktown, Cumberland and Fairfield local government areas.
Parramatta Leagues Club is in a strong financial position and is strategically focused on its future success.
It is intended that the Parramatta Leagues Club will be the parent club in any amalgamation.
