Gaming Incident Register App – cherrycheck® LITE

23-113 | 4 July 2023

Relevant for Directors, CEOs, Managers

Member clubs are advised that ClubsNSW and Cherry Hub entered a partnership to provide the cherrycheck® LITE app to member clubs free of charge to support compliance with the Club Gaming Code of Practice (the Code).

The cherrycheck® app can assist clubs with the player welfare check and gaming incident register requirements under the Code.

The cherrycheck® app enables quick, easy logging of incidents, observations and conversations, automating the gaming incident register. The app is available for use by staff on Android, iOS devices and via a web browser, and comes with strong administrator controls for user access and security.

There is no requirement under the Code to use the cherrycheck® app; clubs are free to choose how they comply with the Code. However, after extensive review and venue trials, ClubsNSW is recommending club’s seeking a digital gambling incident register try the cherrycheck® LITE app.

Having most clubs using the same digital gaming incident register will assist ClubsNSW in providing data to regulators to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Code.

To find out more about the cherrycheck® app, download the proposal here.

Clubs wishing to take up this offer will need to complete Cherry Hub’s online expression of interest form here.
