Unfair Dismissal Compensation Cap Increase

Member clubs are advised that from 1 July 2023, the “compensation cap” for unfair dismissal claims will increase from $81,000 to $83,750 for any unfair dismissal claims lodged after 1 July 2023.
The compensation cap is the maximum monetary amount the Fair Work Commission can order in compensation in an unfair dismissal claim.
